Our Online Protection Hints and Tips

How to access a case once you have submitted it:

  • If you select the “advanced search” tab when you are in Online Protection, you will be able to find submitted cases and print off copies of the application, medical consent form or acceptance in principle letters if required.

How to ensure you have completed all of the application before submitting:

  • If you select the “validate” tab in Online Protection, it will tell you what information is missing from the application.

  • Then, if you click on the relevant blue hyperlink (circled), you will be taken back to the relevant section to complete, which will be highlighted in green (see arrow).

How to tell which sections are incomplete:

  • When a section is fully completed in Online Protection, a green tick appears on the left hand side on the online application. If a green tick is missing from one of the sections, please navigate back to the relevant section for completion by clicking on the relevant section in the left hand menu.

How to update the Customer Declaration:

  • If you change any of the customer information in Online Protection, you will have to go back to the customer declaration section and complete the confirmation by ticking the box.

How to sacrifice commission:
  • If you want to sacrifice commission on Online Protection to obtain a cheaper premium, you need to select the administration section on the left hand menu. You also have the option of selecting Non Indemnity Commission if required.
