AmeriHealth New Jersey signed new agreements with Reproductive Medical Associates, Garden State Orthopedic Associates, Emergency Physicians Associates of North Jersey, PC, and Cape Regional Medical Center.
New contracts
Reproductive Medical Associates
AmeriHealth entered a three-year agreement with Reproductive Medical Associates, which has 11 physicians with offices in Bergen, Hudson, Somerset, Essex, and Union counties in NJ, and one physician who practices in Lehigh County, PA. The agreement is effective November 1.
Garden State Orthopaedic Associates
AmeriHealth signed a three-year agreement with Garden State Orthopaedic Associates, effective November 1. The practice comprises four physicians and two physical therapists who have offices in Bergen and Hudson counties.
Emergency Physicians Associates of North Jersey, PC
AmeriHealth signed a two-year deal with Emergency Physicians Associates (EPA) of North Jersey, PC, effective November 1. EPA of NJ has 33 physicians at Overlook Hospital in Union County and 13 physicians at Riverview Medical Center in Monmouth County.
Cape Regional Medical Center
AmeriHealth entered a three-year agreement with Cape Regional Medical Center, also effective November 1. The hospital is located in Cape May County.
Provider and member programs
Significant north and central network growth
AmeriHealth continues to grow its provider network in the northern and central regions of New Jersey. We have grown our network in the four northern counties of Bergen, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic by nearly 10 percent since January 1, while our combined network growth in the 13 central and northern counties is seven percent during the same time period.
Our online physician nomination form is now available
AmeriHealth continues to enhance its website – www.amerihealth.com – to better address its customers’ needs. In the past month, for example, AmeriHealth has added a physician-recruitment nomination form that can also be submitted online from our Find a Provider search page should a member discover that his or her preferred physician is not already a part of our growing network.
