FutureScripts^® will manage its own mail order pharmacy

AmeriHealth is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2009, we will transition mail order pharmacies from Caremark to FutureScripts.

 

Soon, members will begin to see FutureScripts branding on prescription bottles and forms. It’s important to note that members eligible for mail order services will see no change in the mail order process. Members will still mail their prescriptions to the same address and follow the same instructions.

 

Members can also manage their FutureScripts pharmacy benefits online with amerihealthexpress.com. Online, members can:

• review their personal retail and mail order prescription records to find out what they spent and when and where their prescriptions were filled;
• track mail order prescriptions;
• locate a network retail pharmacy;
• review their coverage and copayment information;
• find the price of a specific drug and find out how much they could save if they use a generic equivalent or switch from retail to mail order;
• view formulary information;
• check any drug-to-drug interactions;
• download online forms.
