AmeriHealth signs new agreement with CoastalSpine
AmeriHealth signed a new agreement with CoastalSpine, effective January 1. The practice, specializing in back and neck problems, has seven physicians and offices in Mount Laurel and Turnersville. As of January 1, 2009, members covered by AmeriHealth New Jersey can receive in-network care and treatment by the specialists of CoastalSpine.
“This new relationship with AmeriHealth New Jersey will allow CoastalSpine physicians to expand our comprehensive spine care to a much larger constituency within Southern New Jersey. Since its inception in 2004, CoastalSpine’s team has treated more than 7,000 patients. The CoastalSpine team consists of one board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician and two distinguished board-certified and fellowship-trained PM&R physicians specializing interventional pain management; they work in association with two board-certified and fellowship-trained neurosurgeons and two board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons.
Not only are high success rates attributed to CoastalSpine’s state-of-the-art facility but its “one-stop-shop” approach is also regarded as a factor.
